What special features do the suites offer?All suites are included 24/7 cameras with live streaming to your phone, and live data from smart litter box, auto food dispenser, that allow you monitor and interact with your cat remotely.

What is included in the daily care of my cat?Daily care includes feeding based on your cat’s schedule, clean filtered water, litter box cleaning, playtime, and monitoring through our advanced in suite technology.

How often will I receive updates?Despite we equipped with 24/7 live cameras, we still provide daily updates via text, email, or Instagram, as per your preference.

Do you accommodate special dietary or medical needs?Yes, we can accommodate special diets and administer medications as per your instructions. The smart food dispenser also allows us to schedule meals according to your cat's specific diet.

Can I extend my cat's stay if needed?Yes, but please inform us as soon as possible to ensure we have space for the extended period.

What is your cancellation policy?Cancellations made 30+ days before check-in receive a full refund. Those within 30 days receive store credit, and no refunds or credits are issued for cancellations within 3 days of check-in.

What should I pack for my cat’s stay? (Checklist included)Food: Bring enough for the entire stay, along with feeding instructions. If your cat has dietary preferences, include treats or wet food they enjoy. Medications: Pack all medications your cat needs, along with clear instructions for administration. Comfort items: Include a favorite blanket, toy, or item that smells like home to help ease their anxiety.

Are vaccinations required for boarding?All cats must have up-to-date vaccinations, including rabies, feline distemper (FVRCP), and feline leukemia.

Recommendation before boardingTreat your cat for fleas and ticks within 30 days prior to boarding. Trim your cat's nails to prevent injury during their stay. Acclimate your cat to their carrier to reduce stress during transportation.

Can I bring my cat’s litter box?MiHotel provides sanitized, high-quality PetKit Auto litter boxes & Traditional Litter Box for all cats. However, if your cat has a specific preference, you are welcome to bring their own.

Are there any apps I need to download before boarding? (Friendly Instruction Included!)Yes, we recommend downloading the following apps before your cat's stay: PetKit: For tracking data on your cat's live feeder and litter box. You're also able to speak and interact with your cat anytime and anywhere! MiHome: For 24/7 live updated on your cat's surrounding (Applicable to Luxury Suite and Luxury Plus Only). Both apps help us keep you connected with your cat's experience at MiHotel!

What if my cat is not eating or interacting?It's normal for cats to take a couple of days to adjust to a new environment. Don’t worry, we will monitor them closely each day and provide the care they need to feel more comfortable. If the behavior persists, we’ll take extra steps to ensure their well-being.

How do you ensure my cat’s safety and comfort?Each cat has a private, cozy suite equipped with 24/7 cameras to monitor their environment, and feliway pheromone diffuser in the boarding area. We also limit interactions between cats from different families. Playtime is individual for each family of cats, ensuring a safe, stress-free experience.

How do you handle emergencies?In event of a medical emergency, we contact your preferred vet or take your cat to the nearest 24/7 emergency clinic. You will be notified immediately.

Is your company insured and licensed?Yes, MiHotel is fully insured with TD Businese Insurance, and we have obtained all necessary licenses required by Ontario regulations to operate as a professional cat boarding facility. Your cat's safety and well-being are our top priorities!
